Aspire Challenge Tower

Promoting confidence and team building is what kids camp is all about. Our 35-foot climbing tower allows children to learn both in a safe, fun-filled setting.

Canoeing & Kayaking

Summer camp just wouldn’t be the same without canoeing and kayaking. Kids can get out and explore the lake while enjoying a fun form of exercise.

Compass, Orienteering

Campers learn how to navigate with confidence using only a compass and map. For anyone interested in outdoor activities, this is a great skill to know.

Cross Country Skiing

Kids who start cross-country skiing at a young age often do it for life, as it combines the best of fun, fitness and a healthy outdoor lifestyle.

Field Sports

Located in the heart of Camp Woods, MacEwan's Landing is an ideal venue for summer camp activities such as soccer, badminton and orienteering.

Firelighting

Spark your children’s interest in outdoor activities as they learn the basics of lighting a campfire. This is a ‘surefire’ confidence builder and a lifelong skill.

Low Ropes

Encouraging balance, problem solving and communication, this kids camp activity is a safe way for participants to develop multiple skills in a single setting.

Obstacle Course

Participants challenge their coordination as they navigate a series of obstacle course elements, including: low ropes, tires, cables and walls. There’s also a group teeter-totter.

Pellet Gun Target Range

Learn the basics of target shooting in a safe, instructive environment. This is great way to develop confidence and introduce participants to the safe handling of firearms.

Pioneering

Survival skills are an essential component of camp activities, and this course introduces camp kids the basics of knots, ropes and lashing to create common camp structures.

Sailing

Sailing and summer camp at Sylvan Lake go hand in hand. This large lake provides room for maneuvering so kids can really enjoy the sport.

Snowshoeing

Strap on your snowshoes and get ready to explore. No matter how deep the snow is, this is one of the top kids camp activities in winter.

Tomahawk Toss

Line up the target and let your tomahawk fly. Kids love this summer camp activity, as it teaches focus and accuracy. It’s also a whole lot of fun!
